Overview
Upon graduating, I saw the need for a showreel that went beyond a simple montage. I challenged myself to create a "visual manifesto"—a short film that would not only showcase my skills in motion design but also articulate my core philosophy as a creative professional. The goal was to introduce myself through a piece that was, in itself, an example of my best work.

The Brain
The entire piece is built on a single, foundational idea: "Every pixel tells a story. "This led to my core design philosophy, which became the narrative spine of the video. I believe the most effective motion design achieves three things: it Connects with the audience on an emotional level, Clarifies a message or idea, and Captivates attention in a world of endless content. This project is the visual translation of that belief.
Creative Process & Walkthrough
I began by writing a script that would serve as the voiceover and guide for the visuals. From there, I moved into storyboarding, style frames, and finally, animation.
Every pixel
I wanted to start by being literal. By breaking down the very words on screen into their most basic component—a pixel—it becomes the focal point for a complex, abstract 2D animation that resolves into a character's profile, then bringing it to life with a subtle motion.
Navigating Complexity
This section is a visual metaphor for my experience navigating the "high-speed currents of advertising." The shift to a serene 3D scene was intentional. The totem symbolizes the balance, precision, and strategic insight required to build something stable and beautiful out of complex parts.
Defining the Promise
This is the climax where the three core principles are revealed through kinetic typography and abstract motion.
